2. Intermediate Fly Fishing for Bass, with Casting and Trip to the New River

Where and When

1. Introduction to Fly Fishng, etc., YMCA Center, 1000 N. Main Street, Blacksburg, Virginia 24060/961-9622:  June 6 to June 27 (4 Wednesdays evenings) from 7:00-9:00 PM.  Casting workshop, Saturday, June 16, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM; Trip to Little Stony Creek, Saturday, June 30, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

2. Intermediate Fly Fishing for Bass, etc., YMCA Center, 1000 N. Main Street, Blacksburg, Virginia 24060/961-9622:  To be announced (perhaps June or July, 2012) .

2. Casting Basics (I): Overhead (Classic Fly Casting)

5. Habitat Navigation:  Reading Water & Wading Streams
6. Blacksburg's Home Venues: Montgomery & Giles Counties


Where & when

  • Classes 1, 2 & 3 . . .

    mornings and afternoons, at various locations in and about Blacksburg, Virginia
    from the third week in March (weather permitting) to the last week in October.

  • Classes 4, 5 & 6 . . .

    mornings and afternoons, on one of Blacksburg's many beautiful streams
    from the second week in April (weather permitting) to the last week in October.
